Jimmy Chastain

Jimmy Chastain, 64, of Gainesville passed away Monday July 27, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born November 18, 1955 to the late James and Vonnell Chastain, Jimmy had been a resident of Gainesville for the past 8 years after living most of his life in Dawsonville.  A loving father, brother, and grandfather, he worked as a truck driver for many years.

Surviving are his son and daughter in law, David and Casey Chastain, Gainesville; grandchildren, Gracee and Blake; sister and brother in law, Vickie and Stanley Allen, Dawsonville; brothers and sister in law, Freddie Chastain, Dawsonville, Ricky and Tabatha Chastain, Dawsonville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday August 2, 2020 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Harmony Baptist Church Family Life Center.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help offset final expenses.
