James Alton Day

James Alton Day, age 78, of Lawrenceville, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020.  He was a family man and loved watching his grandkids grow up. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Frances Day; brother, Jerry Day.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Day of Lawrenceville; children, Shannon Day of Loganville, Michael and Kelly Day of Sugar Hill, Ashley and Gregory Norman of Cumming, Amanda and Lee River of Sugar Hill and Christopher Day of Oxford, MS; 10 grandchildren; brother, Jack and Marty Day of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Judy and Paul Greer of Dawsonville; and his chihuahua, Taco.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Deckard officiating. Interment was in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:30 am until hour of service.
