Wendell Day

Wendell Day, 66, of Auburn, GA passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020. He is survived by wife of ten years, Kay Rape Day, Auburn; step children, Carl and Crystal Green, Buford, GA, Jack and Stephanie Adams, Winder, GA, Amy (Browning) and Chris Green, Buford; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one nephew; two great nephews; and several cousins. Mr. Day was born on May 29, 1954 in Buford, GA. He received his education at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA. Mr. Day was a retired drywall contractor for Farmer Drywall Company. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 29. 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Adams officiating. Interment will follow at New Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
