Margaret Latimer

Mrs. Margaret Latimer 72, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on November 15, 1947 in Ellijay, GA, she was the daughter of the late John and Bonnie Medlin Davis. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Latimer is preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Latimer; brother, Fred Davis; sister, Diane Davis and brother, Tommy Davis.

Mrs. Latimer is survived by her son, Adam Latimer of Gainesville; daughters, Cora Latimer, Melody Murphy both of Gainesville; 6 grandchildren; Adam Silva, Christian Randolph, Preston Latimer, Marissa Murphy, Brandy Kendall, Brandon Kendall; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Black, Doris Taylor, Becky Payne, Judy Lancaster, Sharon Roper, Karen Davis, Charlotte Sammis all of Gainesville; brother, Johnny Davis of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
