Mary Guynell Andrews Ansley

Mrs. Mary Guynell Andrews Ansley age 93 of Toccoa passed away Friday July 24, 2020 at Stephens County Hospital

A daughter of the late James Lewis and Nezzie Verner Andrews, she was born July 8, 1927 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She retired from Coats and Clark with 44 years of service. She was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Ansley in 2015.

Survivors include her son Larry Ansley of Watkinsville, Georgia. granddaughter Katie Ansley and Laura and Calvin Allison, great-grandchildren Maddie Hulett, Rhys Allison and Ace Allison, brothers Clarence Andrews of Watkinsville and Jack Andrews of Morganton, North Carolina and a sister-in-law Joann Ansley of Toccoa.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 3 P.M. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Dr. Roy Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 P.M. til service time.

Due to the current health conditions of our community, social distancing must be observed.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Doug Andrews, Sam Duvall, Bryan Ansley and Mark Cox.

Flowers are to be omitted and memorials be made to Sunnyside Baptist Church Nursery 1154 Mize Rd, Toccoa, GA 30577
