Betty Hendrix

Betty Hendrix 88 of Gainesville passed away Sunday July 19th. Mrs. Betty L. Hendrix was born August 11, 1931 to the late Robert G. & Carrie ( Burdell) Thompson. She departed this life on Sunday July 19, 2020 at Bell Minor Nursing Home.

Betty was a member of St. Paul united Methodist Church and a former member of the Senior Choir. She was employed by the Honorable Judge Kenyon and the Wilheits.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Joseph ( Joe Babe) Hendrix, sons: Danny & Quinlan Hendrix, sisters Mamie Johnson, Martha Camp and Barbara Brown.

She leaved to mourn her passing loving daughters Delores White & Yvonne Buffington, loving sons Ronnie & Derrick Hendrix, Precious grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren, as well as a loving sister Rebekah Whelchel. And a host of nieces and nephews. The visitation for Mrs. Betty will be Friday July 24th at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12-7pm. Mrs. Betty's Celebration of life will be Saturday July 25th at Calvary Gardens Cemetery at 1pm. Professional Funeral Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
