Roger Dale Jenkins

Mr. Roger Dale Jenkins, age 65 of Skyview Lane, Toccoa passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his residence.

A son of the late Kermit ad Velma Smith Jenkins, he was born August 5, 1954 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was on disability for a number of years and retired as a painter. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Drummond and by a brother, Jimmy Jenkins.

Survivors include a daughter, Jenny Emanuel of Toccoa; brother, Terry Jenkins of Toccoa; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Wilson of Eastanollee, Gloria and Roger Cobb, Sylvia and Alan Rider and Rhonda Peeples all of Toccoa and Shelia and Wesley Kellar of Eastanollee; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 22, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Old Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery with family members officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Gary Rogers, Larry Woody, Billy Woody, Chris Rider, Wesley Kellar and Jonathan Cobb.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until time to leave for the service. Due to the current health conditions of our community, social distancing will be observed. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Old Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Roger Dale Jenkins.
