Drusella Dyer Roberts, 81 of Gainesville passed away Saturday July 18, 2020
Born in Forsyth County, Mrs. Roberts had lived in Jackson County for most of her life. Mrs. Roberts was the daughter of the late Jay Dewey and Lou Durand Dyer. She was retired from Zeeman's Manufacturing where she was a textile seamstress and was a member of Walnut Fork Baptist Church in Jackson County.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Felicia Roberts Heaton and David L. Heaton, Gainesville; granddaughter, Morgan Heaton, Gainesville; grandson and wife, Kyle and Charlee Heaton, Easley, South Carolina; great grandson, Silas Heaton, Easley, South Carolina; sister, Delores Scroggs, Decatur, Ga.; brothers, Robert Dyer, Statham and Phillip Dyer, Bradenton, FL; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday July 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Walnut Fork Baptist Church. Rev. David Bost will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday July 19, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home and again Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Walnut Fork Baptist Church.
