Clyde Jones

Clyde Harvey Jones was born on January 31, 1963. He was the son of the late Mrs. Annie Ruth Duke Jones & Mr. Clyde Jones Jr. He departed this world on July 14, 2020. He is preceded in death by 1 grandchild- Tye Hardin, 1 brother- Clinton Jones.

He grew up in Jefferson, GA. where he was an outstanding athlete at Jefferson City Schools. After graduating high school he went to Athens Tech where he became a HVAC contractor, and later became the owner of Clyde Jones Heating & Air.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Tammy Jones; 2 daughters- Tiffany (Luke) Carlton, Tierra (Jermaine) Styles; 4 grandchildren who he affectionately referred to as “The Puppies”; 4 sisters- Dora Ann Appleby, Cheryl (Mike) Sims, Carol (Al) Clark, Barbara Ann White.

Clyde had several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that he loved and cherished deeply.

Memorial service will be held on Monday between the hours of 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at the Wimberly Funeral Home Chapel.
