Virginia Kay Murphy Green

Mrs. Virginia Kay Murphy Green, age 54, of Pendergrass, GA passed away on July 11, 2020.  She is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Shane Murphy; sister, Melissa Murphy; brother, Steven Barker and brother, David Revels.  Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, Kevin Green, Pendergrass, GA; children, Shaun Boivin, Jasper, GA, McKayla Boivin, Argo, AL; sister, Brenda (Billy) Samples, Talking Rock, GA; brother, Shirley Murphy, DePlains, OH, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Murphy, Buchtel, OH; father and mother-in-laws, Lamar and Peggy Green, Buford, GA; brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Green, Snellville, GA, Bradley Green, Buford, GA, Jason Green, Buford, GA.  Mrs. Green was born September 8, 1965 in Nelsonville, OH.  She was a 1984 graduate of Tri-County Vocational School and from Hockey Technical College both in Nelsonville, OH where she received her nursing degree.  She was most recently employed with Kubato Corporation in Gainesville, GA.  Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Emory Samples officiating.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until Service at 11:00 a.m. A Graveside service will be held immediately following the funeral at 2:30 p.m. at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, 364 East Church Street, Jasper, GA 30143.
