Michael W. Stone

Mr. Michael Wayne Stone, age 60, of Cumming passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020.

A Celebration of Life will be held 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Lynnhaven on Lanier, 5936 Shadburn Ferry Road, Buford.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Born August 5, 1959 to Robert Stone and the late Stella Breedon Stone in Knoxville, Tennessee,   Mike Stone took fashion cues from no one. His signature outfit was a T-shirt or polo, “preferably orange” (untucked), khaki shorts, and flip flops, even in 30 degree weather. Mike, Candi, and Chandler were like “gypsies”. When they walked in, you knew the party had started. Mike was the most fun loving man with a big, bright smile. All the girls adored “Mikey”. 

Mr. Stone is survived by his wife, Candace; sons, Daryl and Chandler; father, Bobby; siblings, Cathy, Robin, Karen and Dewayne; and many, many friends.
