Elsie Grace Bickford

Elsie Grace Bickford, age 92, of Homer, GA passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Victoria Ramsdell Baird; and daughter, Diane Bickford.

She is survived by her children, Gloria Busby, Sally Ledford, Maryanne Grimes, Linda Lakey, Joyce Musqui, Marsha Coffman, John Bickford, David Bickford. 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren also survive.

Grammy loved babies, spending time with them and looking through photographs., She would show them to anyone and everyone she spoke to. She loved her embroidery and won several blue ribbons for her work. She loved puzzles and word searches and had stacks of them in her closet because she received them for Christmas and her birthday every year. She loved travelling and visiting with family, especially trips to Dairy Queen for her large strawberry sundae and always sharing that last bite with Honey. She was the #1 fan of wintergreen lifesavers, eating them by the bucketful.

She loved being called Grammy because she was Grammy to everyone!

A Tribute to our beloved Grammy is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.
