Mae Francine Elsner

Mrs. Mae Francine Elsner, age 90 of Carnesville passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at her residence.  Mrs. Elsner was born in Homer to the late, Wilson and Florance Poole.  Mrs. Elsner was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Elsner is survived by her husband, John Herman Elsner of Carnesville; daughters, Deborah Hyatt, Diane Lewis, and Norma Walters all of Carnesville, Elaine Elsner of Douglasville, and Connie Oliver of Carnesville; brothers, Kenneth Poole and Donald Poole both of Baldwin; sisters, Rachel McNabb and Linda Chapman both of Baldwin and Julia McConnel of Cornelia; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 8^th at 11:00 AM from New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Gilbert, Rev. Tommy Childress, and Rev. Charles Chapman officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 4-8 PM.
