Edward Ashley “Pop” Pattillo

Mr. Edward Ashley “Pop” Pattillo, 82, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Born on January 12, 1938 in Atlanta, he was the son of the late J.W. and Lillian Rogers Pattillo. He was retired from Georgia Slacks where he was a machinist. Mr. Pattillo was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; son, Donald; grandson, Brian Seabolt; great granddaughter, Alyssa Gracie Seabolt; parents, JW and Lillian Pattillo.

He is survived by children, Linda and Wiley Gammon Loganville, Ray Cannon Lawrenceville, Janet Lee Gillsville, Terry Pattillo Gillsville and Wendy and Jeff Walker Homer; 6 grandsons, Josh and Robert Walker, Trey and Chris Gammon, Ryan and Avery Pattillo; three great granddaughters, Paisley Seabolt, Amelia and Emmy Gammon; one great grandson, Carlisle Walker and one great grandson due in November; brothers, Roy, Gene, Travis and Thomas Pattillo.

Pop was cremated at his family’s request.
