Joan C. Hicks

Mrs. Joan C. Hicks, 79, of Flowery Branch passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Edward Rice and Rev. Timothy Holloway will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on May 26, 1941, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Crawford and Elizabeth Robinson Gaston. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hicks is survived by her husband, Oval Hicks of Flowery Branch; sons, Johnny Darrell Hicks, William Lamar Hicks; grandchildren, Misty Hicks, Candy Hicks; great grandchildren, Alexis, Brianna, Katie, Michael, Matthew, Alex; sisters, Evelyn Gaston Gibson, Mary Gaston; brother, William Gaston (Edith) and a number of other relatives.
