Gail Jones

Gail Jones, age 71, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

She was preceded in death by husband, Roy Edward Scribner; mother, Lois A. Gillette and father, John W. Jones. Mrs. Jones is survived by children, Gina Hankins, Charlotte, NC, and James and Jennifer Cook, Lawrenceville, GA; four grandchildren, Ashley Paden, Brittany Paden, Ryan Cook, Hailey Cook; and several other relatives and close friends.  Mrs. Jones was born on February 24, 1949 in Washington, DC. She was a retired school bus driver from the Gwinnett County Public School system. Mrs. Jones was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Hulsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6 at the funeral home.
