Linda Sue Bowers Dewberry

Linda Sue Bowers Dewberry, 70, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday July 2, 2020.

Mrs. Dewberry was born December 14, 1949 in Bellville, IL to the late Roy J. and Christa Bowers and had lived in Dawson County since 2002 having moved from Orlando, FL. She retired as a Special Education teacher with the Orlando, Florida School System.

She was a devoted mother and was very close to her family. Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Dahlonega Ward.

Surviving are her husband, Sidney A. Dewberry, Dawsonville; son and daughter in law, Jared and Jaime Schrum, Meridian, Idaho; grandchildren, Hallie Schrum, Charlie Schrum, Maggie Schrum; brother and sister in law, Roy A. and Sherry Bowers, Dawsonville.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 6, 2020 at 2 o’clock at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Dahlonega Ward. Bishop Michael Wall will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday July 6, 2020 from 12 noon until 2 at the church.
