Willie Mae Davis

Anderson - Underwood announces Mrs Willie Mae Davis, age 82 of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Mrs. Davis was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. She was born in Lumpkin County to the late Willie Berry and Hannah Grizzle Berry.

 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of their children, Joe Dan Davis; Son, Roy Dan Davis; Brothers, Newt Berry, Leon Berry, and Frank Berry; Sisters, Viola Fields, Beveleene Beasley, Cleo Rice, Ella Garrett and Joyce Barrett. 

She is survived by her children, Sue Davis(Meldon Aycock), Ricky (Beverly) Davis, and Steve (Angela) Davis; Daughter in Law, Gail Davis; Grandchildren, Jonathan, Jay (Elizabeth), Daniel (Stephanie), and Hannah. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the chapel of Anderson - Underwood Funeral Home with Rev. Kris Butler and Rev. Lyman Caldwell Officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2 from 4pm - 8pm and on Friday, July 3 from 12pm until service time at the funeral home.
