Helen Mullikin, better known as Ivelene, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020.
Ivelene was born in Atlanta, Georgia to L.E. and Lula Lee Kuykendall. Ivelene never met a stranger and always put others ahead of herself. She was a loving wife, doting mother and proud grandmother. For most of her career, she was a successful business owner selling limousines all over the southeast. Her passion for God led her to putting together events for The Quiet Hour and the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Redlands, California. There, she and Jim would cook feasts, decorate and serve others ensuring everyone felt special. She took most pride in being a grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandkids and going to all of their various events.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jim Mullikin, son Cary Mullikin and wife Caroline Mullikin, daughter Monica McKaskle and husband Andy McKaskle, grandchildren Carter Mullikin, Caitie Mullikin and Jake McKaskle, sisters Jean Denmon and Dennise Knight as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 6, 2020 from 11:00 AM til the 12:00 PM Memorial Service in the Chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory, 150 Sawnee Drive Cumming, Georgia 30040. Please online guestbook at www.mcdonaldandson.com
