Annie B. Wade

Annie B. Wade, age 95, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020.

Mrs. Wade was born on November 21, 1924 to the late John and Etta Nelms Gerrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, James William Wade; brothers, Harold Gerrell, Lowell Gerrell, Terrell Gerrell, EC Gerrell; sisters, Nell Ivester, and Willeen Knight. Mrs. Wade was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She worked for Carwood Manufacturing for several years. Annie was a homemaker and a seamstress to the public for many years.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Wade, of Alto; sister, Mary Simmermon, of Habersham County; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Alto with Rev. Jan Devereaux officiating.
