Eulene M. Tinsley, 74, of Cumming passed away Monday June 22, 2020 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Born July 20, 1945 to the late Hubert and Madge Martin, she was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County. Eulene was a homemaker at her death. In the 1980’s her sight became affected and she was a graduate of the Hadley School of Braille. A member of Crossroads Baptist Church, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Opal Mathis, Juanita Shadburn, Louise Jones and a brother, Roy Martin.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Hugh Tinsley, Cumming; children, Dennis and Deidre Tinsley, Dawsonville, Lisa and Kevin Blackburn, Gainesville; grandchildren, Michael Tinsley, Parker Tinsley, Emma-Claire Tinsley, Eli Blackburn, Colton Blackburn; sisters and brother in law, Inez Mathis, Cumming, Joyce and Roger Seay, Cumming, Marie Barnes, Cumming; brother and sisters in law, Roger and Karen Martin, Cumming, Shirley Gayton, Dawsonville; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 24, 2020 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Garry English and Rev. Craig Richard will officiate. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
