Charles Edward Turner

Mr. Charles Edward Turner, 77, of Lula passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral home. Rev. Dwayne Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on June 8, 1943 in Cleveland, GA he was the son of the late James and Bonnie Palmer Turner. He was a retired truck driver for Davenport Transportation.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Turner is preceded in death by his wife, Joann Turner, and brother, Kenneth Turner.

Mr. Turner is survived by his son, Michael Turner of Dahlonega; son and daughter in law, Jeff and April Turner of Gainesville; brother, Larry Turner of Hartwell; grandchildren, Jackson Turner, Logan Turner, Kendall Turner all of Dahlonega, Joshua Turner of Cleveland, Katelyn Turner of Clermont, Savannah Turner of Gainesville, Nolan Turner of Gainesville; great grandchildren, Ryan Turner, Bryce Turner, Langston Turner, Holsten Turner, Lilly Turner, Cannon Turner, all of Cleveland and a number of other relatives.
