Cloyse Edmond Hicks, 79, of Cumming passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020. A lifelong resident of Forsyth County, Cloyse was a retired truck driver and mechanic well known for his skills as a “Jack of All Trades”. He was a member of Settendown Baptist Church. Cloyse is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Madge Hicks; step-mother, Corene Hicks; grandson, Jason Holubitsky; great grandson, Todd Acker; sister Martha Sue Grindle.
Survivors include his wife, Loyce Carnes Hicks; daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Todd Holubitsky; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Linda Hicks, Eddie and Rhonda Hicks; grandchildren, Savannah and Caleb Poole, Robbie and Cara Hicks, Matthew and Becca Hicks, Mark and Darcy Hicks, Benjamin Odom, Thomas and Mary Odom, Virginia and Bubba Acker, Victoria May; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 22, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Estes and Rev. Robbie Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
