Dylan Michael Canup

Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Dylan Michael Canup, age 19, of Hoschton, who passed on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Mr. Canup was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, a son to Terry Canup and Margaret Holmes Canup of Hoschton, Georgia. Mr. Canup attended Habersham Success Academy, North Georgia Technical College and was member of Maysville Baptist Church. Dylan was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, the Chicago Bulls, and the Atlanta Braves. Dylan loved to fish and also NASCAR Racing.

Survivors including his parents, are his brother, Drew Canup and his wife Leanne of Commerce; sisters, Emily Canup and Sarah Grace Canup of Hoschton, and Doria York of Millbrook, Alabama; grandparents, Ronald and Nettie Canup of Elberton, Eva Holmes of Maysville, Michael and Marsha Damme of Sparta, Mississippi, Boud and Norma Vandermeer of Brooksville, Florida and Bill and Hazel McDaniel of Mechanicsville, Maryland; special aunt and uncle, Pat and Jim Minor of Cornelia, and numerous Uncles and Aunts, Cousins, and Kristi York of Brooksville, Florida also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Chip Cranford officiating. The burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens .

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18,2020 From 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday, June 19, 2020 From 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home.

Those attending are asked to maintain the recommended social distancing of six feet and please wear protective masks in accordance with guidelines concerning the Coronavirus.
