Della Mae Farrington Akin

Della Mae Farrington Akin, age 87 of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Akin was born April 3, 1933 in Houston, TX to the late Charles Marcus Farrington and Josephine Foltin Farrington. Della was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Akin would have celebrated their 65^th wedding anniversary on June 25.

Survivors include her husband of almost 65 years, H. Donald Akin, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Rhonda Akin, Gainesville; daughter, Donna Akin Zimmer, Suwanee; Michael and Pamela Akin, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Amanda Akin Holcomb, Jeremiah Akin, Kaylin Akin Palmer, Jonathan Akin, Will Zimmer, 10 great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Mt. Yonah Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Merck, Rev. Mark Akin and the Rev. Dan Crumley will officiate.
