Miss Kimberely La’Tee Smith, 40, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
The family will have a visitation at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and again from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Starting at 2:00 p.m. you can live stream the services via Zoom with the meeting ID: 892 1923 6235- and the password is 992695.
Born on September 25, 1979 in Columbia, SC she was the daughter of Milledge L. and Elaine Ryans Smith. Kim graduated from Ridge Spring Marietta High School in 1997. After moving to Gainesville with her parents, she attended Lanier Tech and recently earned a degree from Athens Tech. She has worked for Hall County Tag Office, Gainesville City School and other Jobs. Kim is best known for her sense of humor and her big smile. She was called auntie by her niece (McKenzie Burns) and nephew (Kerwin Burns) and she loved to spend time with them, As a Jehovah’s witness she has been blessed with many privileges in Jehovah’s Service. She also served as a pioneer. She served with the sign language congregation for 5 years and also traveled to work with unassigned territory in other states. She has been blessed with a very big spiritual family all over the world. She was greatly loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Miss Smith is preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Christina Smith and grandparents, Mattie and Steven Ryans and Eloise and Joe Clinton Smith.
In addition to her parents, Miss Smith is survived by her brother, Blaine Smith of Wallkill, NY; sister, Shannon Ashley Smith of Gainesville and numerous aunts, uncles and other family members.
