Geraldine Passmore Martin

Geraldine Passmore Martin, age 92, of Buford, GA passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-eight years, Robert E. Lee Martin; parents, Julius and Annie W. Martin Passmore; sisters, Garnetta Ashley Columbus Ward and Ruby Lee Quattlebaum; and son-in-law, Kenneth Hunter. Mrs. Martin is survived by children, Harold Roger “Stoney” Martin, Buford, GA, and Janet Martin Hunter, Buford, GA;  daughter-in-law, Evelyn Martin, Buford, GA; four grandchildren, Dena and Ian Stokes, Ray and India Todd, Crystal and Scott Ridling, Lindsay and George Andana; nine great grandchildren, Chasie Stokes, Collin Stokes, Haven Todd, Landen Todd, Chandler Todd, Kalem Martin, Ashlyn Martin, Benjamin Andana, and Kayley Andana. Mrs. Martin was born on July 24, 1927 in Gastonia, NC. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood, NC. Mrs. Martin was a retired garmache chef from PineIsle Marriott Hotel at Lake Lanier Islands after twenty-five years of service. She was of the Methodist faith. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
