Mrs. Virginia “Jenny” Lou Jones Campbell Evans, age 90, of Dahlonega, GA formerly of Kistler, West Virginia passed on Monday, June 9, 2020.
Jenny was born on June 5, 1930 in Ironton, OH to the late Bert and Loretta Butler Jones. She was a homemaker and she always spoke her mind and spoke it truthfully. Jenny will always be remembered for her devotion to her family whom she loved so dearly. Any chance that she was given, she would spend time creating cherished memories with her grandchildren. She was a member of the VRF Post 8412, Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to both parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Edward Evans; sisters Midge Lewis and Darlene Doris Starr; brothers Ray Jones, Earl Jones, and Harry Jones; grandson Bruce Campbell and granddaughter Rhonda Brown.
Those left to cherish the memories made with Mrs. Evans include daughter Sharon (Jimmy) Simpson of Dahlonega; sons Richard (Connie) Campbell of Plainfield, IL and Billy (Maryann) Campbell of Jones, OK; sisters Lovern Scott of Romeville, IL and Hazel (Larry) Browning of Milton, WV; brothers David (Darlene) Jones of Gahana, OH, Donald (Thea) Jones of Man, WV, and Dick (Bonnie) Jones of Fayetteville, TN. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
A family graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, June 13, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home in Man, West Virginia.
