Melvaree Wilson Edmonds

Mrs. Melvaree Wilson Edmonds left this life to begin eternal life in Heaven on June 6, 2020. Melvaree was a genuine lady filled with honor, inner beauty, grace, compassion and enormous humility.

She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was devoted to her faith, her family and friends. She will surely be missed by all that know her. Melvaree enjoyed going to church, dining out, traveling, thrift stores, shopping, home décor, sewing, reading, crafts, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Melvaree was a 1957 graduate of Dawson County High School. She attended New Holland Business School. She also earned several awards from Sears University. She was a 38 year employee of Sears in Gainesville. She also worked 5 years for Jesse Jewell.

Melvaree was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Jodie Wilson; husband, Bobby Edmonds and brother Loyal Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Bobbie Gail and Wayne Byers; son, Jeff Edmonds; granddaughter, Hanna (Melvin) Reynolds; granddaughter, Tara Edmonds; grandson, Will Edmonds; granddaughter, Chelsea (Cole) Allison; great granddaughters, Bentley Allison; great grandsons, Mason Allison, Gabe Reynolds; nephew, Chance Wilson; aunt, Floistine Duncan and a number of other relatives.
