Chet Garrett

Mr. Chet Garrett, of Gainesville passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral home. Rev. John Dubois will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on January 2, 1957 in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late James Whitney “Buddy” and Mary Elizabeth O’Cain Garrett. Mr. Garrett was retired from Western Electric where he was an extruder in fiber cable. He was of the catholic faith.

Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife, Tammy Garrett of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Christina Garrett and Steven Ford; grandson, Tyler Garrett; sister, Benita Edwards and other relatives and friends.
