Michael “Mike” Edward Sanders

Mr. Michael “Mike” Edward Sanders, age 60 of Phoenix Street, Martin passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at his residence.

A son of the late Edward Virgil Sanders and Linda Lou Taylor Sanders, he was born January 13, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois having lived in Martin, Georgia for the last 20 years. He was a self-employed mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Pierson.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Debra Baxter Sanders; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jameson and Kayla Sanders of Gainesville, Jeremy and Lacie Sanders and Joshua Sanders both of Martin; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Sanders of Cowan, Tennessee and Shelia Sanders of Indiana.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
