Melody D. Brockhoft, age 59 of Flagstaff, entered heavens gates on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She was born in Los Angeles, California to Phillip R. Willocks and Beverly E. LaPisto Sollars on October 30, 1960.
A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and caring friend, Melody lived persistently and loved deeply.
Melody lived a life marked and endured by tremendous and continual hardship, unmatched by her remarkable will to carry-on. Despite its toll on her and against all odds, she found and maintained her faith; she cared always and loved fiercely.
Melody had a vivacious personality, one that drew people to her and always made those around her laugh. She made friends wherever she went; she was funny & fun-loving and easy to talk to. Melody had a big heart for pets, so much that donating her last dime for their care would not be out of the ordinary.
Last but not in the least, she treasured her many roles within her family. She was known as Giggy, Shmiggy, Crammy, Grammie-Grammie, Granmama, Mel, Auntie Mel, Pumpkin and wheezy, creating unique and personal relationships within each while giving all the love she had. Melody left this world with a full heart, knowing she was loved by her family and proud to have been part of their lives.
Melody will be forever remembered by her husband Steve Brockhoft, Daughters Christy (Lennard) Lopez and Kimberly (Nathan) Creamer, Grandchildren Alexis, Alyssa & Abigail Brockhoft, Aiden Lopez, Amber Robertson, Daniel (Wesleigh) Heidecker, Faith and Destiny Creamer, Great Grandchild Leah Garrison, Mother Beverly E. LaPisto Sollars, Stepfather Warren Sollars, Siblings Lynn Willocks, Crystal (Steve) Silverstein, Phillip Willocks, Nieces and Nephews Amber (Chris) LaMonte, Branden, Danielle & Kyleigh Silverstein and Uncle Mike May.
Services to honor and remember Melody will be provided to family and friends at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Doors will open at 2:00 pm for a time of gathering and viewing, followed by a funeral service officiated by Pastor Danny Newbern at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers You may make donations to a memorial fund set up for her Great Granddaughter Leah Garrison (please contact Alexis Brockhoft for acct information) or the ASPCA.
