Larry Mason Mitchell

Larry Mason Mitchell, age 70, of Bethlehem, GA passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-nine years, Kathleen Gay Kennedy. Mr. Mitchell is survived by children, Mason Mitchell, Bethlehem, GA and Jason Joseph Mitchell, Lafayette, LA; sister, Tonnie Louise Mitchell-Pritchard, Jackson, GA; brother-in-law, Jack Kennedy, Jr, Dalton, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Mitchell was born on September 12, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1967 graduate of Southwest High School in Atlanta. Mr. Mitchell was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, and he was a retired supervisor from the City of Atlanta Sewer Department. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time for the service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
