Teressa “Lynn” Waters

The family is heartbroken to announce the death of Teressa “Lynn” Waters of Gainesville, GA on May 29th, 2020 at the age of 64 after a courageous 4-year battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her family as she gained her angel wings.

She was born September 23, 1955 in Gainesville, GA to George Harwell and Martha “Clezell” (Lunsford) Harwell. She graduated from Johnson High School Class of 1973 and later dedicated more than 24 years at Performance Foodservice Milton’s. She loved everyone she interacted with as if they were family.

She loved and adored her children and grandchildren, enjoyed bowling, reading, “galivanting” and shopping with her sister and best friend Charlotte, and many other things. She was witty and sarcastic and always had the best comebacks, and she kept her sense of humor to the very end. Over everything else, the most important to her was being surrounded by her family. Family holidays were her favorite.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, George & Clezell Harwell.

She is survived by her sons: Blair Reynolds (Torona), of Dahlonega, and Ryan Reynolds (Casey), of Gainesville; grandsons: Ayden & Tobin Reynolds of Dahlonega; Sister: Pam Harwell of Lula, GA; Brother: Chris Harwell, Clermont, GA; Niece: Lindsey Richardson-Weston (Brian) of Lawrenceville; and nephew Justin Richardson (Randi) of Oakwood.

Due to the current health concerns the family will have a private interment service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
