James Harlan Shook

Mr. James Harlan Shook, age 72, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Shook was born in Clarkesville to the late Clyde Shook and Euna Bell Roberts Shook Hubbard.  He was a member of The Grove and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  Mr. Shook was also a member of Hudson Lodge 294 F&AM.  He was retired from Wal-Mart and previously served with the Clarkesville Police Department.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Shook was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rossly Sheridan Shook; and step-son, Rocky Brown.

Mr. Shook is survived by his children, Tracy Shook of Saudi Arabia and Pamla Falls of Morgantown, KY; loving step-daughter, Wanda Dean of Commerce; sisters, Annie Lewallen of Baldwin and Adell Taylor of Gastonia, NC; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Due to the current situation with Covid-19, there will be a private family graveside service Friday, May 29 at Jackson Memorial Park with Pastor John Wood officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jackson County Boys and Girls Club.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
