Darlene Childers Hartley, age 66 of Buford, GA, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 1, 2020 at 1 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Craig Dale and Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, June 1, 2020 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the funeral home. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Rieves Hartley II; parents, VJ and Pauline Childers; brother and sister, Ralph E. Childers and S. Elaine Sullivan. She is survived by her son, Justin Lee Hartley and wife Paula, Loganville; grandchildren, Emily Meghan Hartley, Anslee Grace Hartley, Abby Thompson, Nathan Thompson, Justin Hartley, Jr.; sister, Carolyn Smith and fiancé Charles Mote, Covington. Darlene was born in Decatur, GA and was a lifelong resident of the metro Atlanta area. She was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church, Buford.
