Marcia Lynn Hope

Mrs. Marcia Lynn Hope, age 59, of Dahlonega passed away Monday, May 25, 2020.

Mrs. Hope was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was born on July 23, 1960. Mrs. Hope was preceded in death by her mother Margene Grizzle and son Scotty Beck. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hope was her mother’s caregiver until she passed away in August 2018.

Survivors include her nephews Tony Porter, Locust Grove, and Carson Wood, Dahlonega; granddaughter Ashley Truelove; father Carson Wood; best friend Cathy Garcia; and several great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, May 29, 2020 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Preacher Freddie Bryan and Mr. Donnie Cantrell will officiate.
