Salvador Chavez Lerma

Mr. Salvador Chavez Lerma, 76, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Father Hernan Quevedo will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Born on May 14, 1944 in Durango, Mexico he was the son of the late Salvador Chavez-Valdez and the mate Maria Lerma-Cisneros. He was a farmer and of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Chavez is survived by his daughter, Rosa Elena Chavez of Gainesville; sons, Jose Trinidad Chavez of Gainesville, Salvador Chavez of Gainesville, Marcelino Chavez of Gainesville, Luis Chavez of Durango, Mexico, Manuel Chavez of Gainesville and a number of other relatives.
