Wanda Catroppa

Obituary Date: Friday, May 1, 2020

Wanda Catroppa passed away suddenly on May 1, 2020.  After struggling for years with back pain and other issues, she is finally at Home with the Lord, with the Peace she so richly deserves.

Wanda was born on August 4, 1969, in Jersey City, NJ.  She went to school at St. Dominic’s Catholic Academy, where she met many friends who remained close to her throughout her life. Wanda spent 3 decades as a Floral Designer at many shops, and she designed the Floral decorations for one of the Soprano’s Funeral episodes.

Wanda accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior on October 1, 2008.  She married Emil Catroppa on July 27, 2013, and continued living a committed life to Jesus Christ, her husband, and her church family.  Wanda was loved by many, many friends and family members, and will be greatly missed.  Wanda especially had a heart for lost folks, who did not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  She was very bold in her witness to Christ, as she reached out to as many friends/family members with letters and notes of encouragement on a daily basis, in hope of their receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Wanda lived with her husband and 3 dogs in Cleveland, GA, was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, GA, where she volunteered to look after grade school children during Sunday Services.  Wanda loved worshipping the Lord Jesus!

Wanda leaves behind her husband, Emil Catroppa, her Mother, Dolores Maleszewski, her mother-in-law, Sonia Catroppa, and her brother, Larry Maleszewski.

We love you forever Wanda.  We will see you soon.
