Brenda Sue Dougherty

Brenda Sue Dougherty age 68 of Gainesville passed away Monday May 11, 2020 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Brenda was born December 11, 1951 in Gainesville to the late Golia & Burline Hill Woody. She worked as a supervisor at Beaulieu Fibers for 40 plus years until her retirement. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville where she had been a member of the Believer’s Small Group. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Joe Pasquarelli.

Survivors include husband of 52 Years, Donald Dougherty of Gainesville; daughter & son in law, Jenny & Kyle Schofield of Gainesville; brother, Tim (Penny Smith) Woody of Panama City, Florida; sister & brother in law, Lynn & James Telford of Homer; special nieces, Cindy (Steve) Stephens and their children, Griffin & Chase & Jamie Pasquarelli.

Funeral services for family & close friends will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday May 14, 2020 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Smiley officiating. Drop in visitation will be from 12 noon until the service time Thursday at the funeral home. Due to current conditions of Covid-19 & protection of the family please exercise social distancing.
