William Thomas Higgins Sr.

William Thomas Higgins Sr., age 86, of Chapin SC, passed away on, Sunday, May 10, 2019 in Chapin, South Carolina.

He was the husband of his predeceased wife, Doris Lucille Higgins and by his daughter, Ginger Diane Gentry.  He was a valued employee of Oxford Chemical Co.  He enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors hunting and fishing; and in his later life spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was best known for telling tall tales to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his son, William Thomas Higgins Jr. (Mary). His Grandchildren: Tami Groover (Bo), Thomas Culberson, Heather Scott (Drew), TJ Higgins (Bethany), Bert Rosenberger (Shannon).  Great grandchildren, Kyle Groover (Maria), Kody Groover, Landon Culberson, Lathan Culberson, Sumter Scott, Weston Scott, Ellie Grace Higgins, Judah Higgins, Barrett Rosenberger, Brantley Rosenberger, and Zoe Rosenberger.

A private graveside service will be held Friday, May 15th at Sawnee View Gardens and Mausoleum led by William Thomas Higgins III.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Foundation, 1900 Sunset Blvd, Suite 103, West Columbia, SC 29169.
