Norman Ray Hamilton, 65, of Dahlonega, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at his residence following a brief illness.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born on February 16, 1955 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late James Burgess and Fear Lou Knight Hamilton. He was employed with Fieldale Farms where he was a Land Manager. Mr. Hamilton was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Hamilton of Dahlonega; daughter and son in law, Leigh and David McNeal of Lula; son and daughter in law, Steven and Cassey Hamilton of Clermont; grandchildren and spouse, Kaitlyn and Shawn Chambers of Dawsonville, Kristopher Roper of Lula, Gabriel Velazquez of Gainesville, Omar Velazquez of Gainesville, Georgia Hamilton of Clermont, Raelyn Hamilton of Clermont, Millie McNeal of Lula, Finn McNeal of Lula; great grandchildren Camden Dixon, Gracie Rider; sisters and brothers in law, Dorene and Larry Seabolt of Oakwood, Jo and Grant Holden of Gainesville, Doris and Vernon Farmer of Dahlonega, Teresa and Thomas Crowe of Gainesville, Loretta and Jeff Harris of Demorest; brothers and sisters in law, Harvey and Shelia Hamilton of Dawsonville, Lamar and Rhonda Hamilton of Cleveland, Robert and Michelle Hamilton of Dahlonega; brother in law and sister in law, Mark and Kay Holden; brother in law, Kurt Holden; sisters in law and brothers in law, Gail and David Sutton, Linda Woods and Bob Barela and a number of nieces and nephews.
