Glen Alan Gumpert

Mr. Glen Alan Gumpert, age 79, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

Private Graveside Services will be held.

Mr. Gumpert was born October 5, 1940 to the late Floyd Gumpert and Martha Whitsel in El Segundo, California.  A veteran of the United States Air Force, he attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church and enjoyed playing golf, traveling and cruises.  Mr. Gumpert was a graduate of Long Beach State in California and retired from the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, where he was a Legal Negotiator.  A hard worker, he was dedicated to his family and providing for them.

Mr. Gumpert is survived by his wife, Christeen Gumpert of Gainesville; daughter, Michelle Gumpert of Dacula; sister, Marsha Mortenson of Senora, California; half-sisters, Judy Carlton and Donna Shumaker; and several nieces & nephews.
