James J. “Jim” Alldred

James J. “Jim” Alldred, Jr., 77, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday May 2, 2020 at his residence.

Born November 4, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to the late James J. and Mary Alldred, he had lived in Lumpkin County for the past 42 years.  Jim retired as a Project Manager with AT&T following 30 years of service.  While raising his children, he was devoted to all their sporting activities.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing and farming.  A member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, he was also preceded in death by is wife, Ellen Alldred; sons, Joseph Alldred, Michael Alldred; and brothers, Dennis J. Alldred and Kenneth D. Alldred.

Surviving are his sons and daughter in law, Brian Alldred, Dawsonville, Jamie and Cas Alldred, Dahlonega, Christopher Alldred, Dawsonville; granddaughters, Savannah Alldred, Autumn Alldred; sister in law, Jenny Alldred, Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives.

Due to the current social condition, the family will have a private service.  Jim will be interred in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
