Joe Anne Hodges Crowe

Joe Anne Hodges Crowe, 83, formerly of Cecil, GA, passed away on April 25, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Mt. Airy, GA, surrounded by her loved ones. 

Mrs. Crowe was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Glenn B. Crowe. Her brother Jimmy Hodges, and parents William Claude Hodges and Leona Todd Hodges Bolton, all of Pembroke, GA. 

Surviving are her daughter Teresa Crowe Key and son-in-law, Danny Hershel Key of Mt. Airy, GA. Her son G. Brian Crowe of Tallahassee, FL. Daughter-in-law Kimberly Crowe of Tallahassee, FL. She is also survived by her two sisters Louise Hodges Sims Williams of Claxton, GA and Lavon Hodges Durrence of Pembroke, GA. 

“Grandmother” as she was lovingly called, had six grandchildren, Kelli, Josh, Jodi Lynn, Christian, Dylan, and Keisha. She also had 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Many of of friends will feel her loss greatly. She was a very special and strong lady and our world will be very different without her. We love you, Momma. 

No formal services are planned at this time for Mrs. Crowe.
