James Thomas "Tom" Marlow

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James Thomas “Tom” Marlow, age 82, of Jefferson, who passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. Mr. Marlow was born in Jackson County, Georgia, a son to the late Clarence Emory Marlow and the late Gertie Lou Covington Marlow. Mr. Marlow was a General Contractor and a member of the New Beginnings Pentecostal Outreach in Jefferson, Georgia. In addition to his parents, Mr. Marlow was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Ellen Marlow, son, James Thomas Marlow Jr., brothers, Clarence Junior Marlow, Larry Marlow and his sister, Margaret Bridges.

Survivors include his sons, Wesley Marlow and his wife Mary of Conyers, Michael Frady and his wife Michelle of Nicholson; grandchildren, Allen Michael Frady, Kayla Allen, Amber Frady, Melanie Majors, Wesley Majors Jr., Jennifer Patterson, Caleb Patterson, Zack Massey, Matthew Massey and ten great grandchildren also survive.

A Celebration of Life service for Mr. James Thomas “Tom” Marlow will be held on a future date that will be be announced.
