William Carlson

Mr. William Carlson, age 92, of Gainesville passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at the Waterford at Oakwood.

Private Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Carlson was born September 27, 1927 to the late Edwin & Loretta Carlson in Geneva, Illinois.  A Veteran of the United States Army, he was the owner of Tunco Manufacturing for 30 years and member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.  A former member of Chattahoochee Golf Club, he enjoyed golfing, boating, and living on Lake Lanier.

Mr. Carlson is survived by his children, Steve & Kim Carlson of Gainesville, Jim Carlson of Gainesville, and Bill & Julie Carlson of Gainesville, Sandy & Stan Williams of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Betty & Dana Hurlbut of Lake Placid, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris Dahlin Carlson; brother, Richard Carlson; and sister, Jane Foster.
