Elizabeth Josephine (Pless) Kidd

Mrs. Elizabeth Josephine (Pless) Kidd aka Betty Jo Kidd, 88 years young, graduated on April 23, 2020, at her home in Oakwood, Ga. Born in Habersham/Hall county lived and worked in the Gainesville area of most of her adult years. She and her beloved husband Henry (Doc) Kidd were founders and workers at Jehovah Jireh food Ministry for 30 years helping those that needed a hand up not just a hand out.

Mrs. Kidd was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, Georgia. She was a loving wife and mother to all.

Mrs. Kidd was preceded in death by her husband, Henry (Doc) Rudolph Kidd and her daughter, Charlotte Yvonne Kidd. Mrs. Kidd is survived by her daughter, Wanda Retricia Roper; son-in-law, Charles Kevin Martin; son, Darrel Martin Kidd; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Elaine Kidd; son, Henry Mitchell Kidd; daughter-in-law, Lisa Haynes Kidd; granddaughter, Retricia Sabrina Mott-Owens; grandson, Loy Davis Roper III & wife, Michell Dunagan Roper; granddaughter, Tammy Weynette Kinney; grandson, Henry Robert Kidd; grandson, Private Joshua Garrett Kidd, USMC; grandson, Bryson Reed Kidd; 5 great-grandchildren, Taylor Kiona Mott, Howard Rafe Thompson, Dakota Lee Owens, Parker Dunagan, Josephine Yvonne Jollene Thompson; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Rylin James Mott and Sylis Stephen Russell.

Celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date for all that would like to celebrate with the family.
