James Robert Wells

Mr. James Robert Wells, age 63 of Joe Smith Road, Mt. Airy passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at his residence.

A son of the late Jesse and Ruby Parker Wells, he was born October 28, 1956 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in Stephens and Habersham Counties all his life. He worked in construction as a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Wayne Wells.

Survivors include a daughter, Kayla Wells of Toccoa; grandchildren, Haley Costa, Cady Costa, Spencer Tomlin and Blake Tomlin; brother and sister-in-law, William and Judy Wells of Clarkesville; two nephews and one niece.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
