Kyle Edward Holbrooks

Mr. Kyle Edward Holbrooks, age 39 of Colorado, formerly of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 in Commerce, Georgia.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Holbrooks was born December 4, 1980 in Gainesville, Georgia to John Edward Holbrooks and Sandee Sue Hensley Beard.  Kyle was employed with Primus Restaurant in Durango, Colorado where he worked as a Chef.  He was of the undenominational faith. Kyle will live on in our hearts and we will carry him with us wherever we go. He was someone whose heart was in the right place, who loved his family and friends and would do anything to lighten their burden. His infectious laugh, that twinkle in his eye and his love for others will be sorely missed by all who knew him.  “To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die” by Thomas Campbell.  He was preceded in death by both sets of his grandparents, Christopher Columbus Holbrooks & Lelia Mae Crumley Holbrooks and Edwin S. Hensley & Nova J. Vaughan Hensley.

Mr. Holbrooks is survived by his wife, Thuykhe “Kay” D. Nguyen of Durango, Colorado, his father & step-mother, Eddie & Cindy Holbrooks of Clarkesville, mother & step-father, Sandee & Shawn Beard of Clearwater, Florida, his siblings, John & Kate Holbrooks of Napa, California, Misty & Sammy Beck of Cornelia, Alyx Kirk of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Skylar & Tom Ingram of Columbus, Georgia and Leah Holbrooks of Clarkesville.  Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
